Get Out The Vote

Vote in the Missouri General Election

Know Your Voting Rights

 

You have a right to vote a regular ballot without showing photo ID (as of Sept.14, 2006).

Red bullet indentation  You may be asked for a photo ID at the polls but you DO NOT need photo ID. (Final decision pending by the Missouri Supreme Court.)


 

You will need to provide ONE of these documents when voting:

Red bullet indentation  Identification issued by the state of Missouri, an agency of the state, or a local election authority of the state;
Red bullet indentation  Identification issued by the United States government or agency thereof;
Red bullet indentation  Identification issued by an institution of higher education located within the state of Missouri;
Red bullet indentation  A copy of a current utility bill, bank statement, government check, paycheck or other government document that contains the name and address of the voter;
Red bullet indentation  Driver's license or state identification card issued by another state;
Red bullet indentation  Personal knowledge of the voter by two supervising election judges, one from each major political party, shall be acceptable voter identification upon the completion of an affidavit that is signed by both supervisory election judges and the voter that attests to the personal knowledge of the voter by the two supervisory election judges.


 
You have the right to join the Permanently Disabled Absentee Voting List and vote at your home by absentee ballot.
