Independent Living Resource Center has a Durable Medical Equipment Loan
Program.
The equipment on the program is given by donations, from
individuals who no longer have the need for it, or from friends and/or
families of ones who no longer need the equipment.
The equipment is checked over to ensure safety, and then processed into
the program to be able for loan to an individual who does have a need.
The equipment can be checked out on a short-term basis, such as 60 days,
or a longer term, based upon the situation.

of equipment in the Durable Medical Equipment Loan Program:
Walker
Shower Chair
Transfer Bench
All-Purpose Commode
Electric Wheelchair
Manual Wheelchair
Manual Reclining
Wheelchair
Comfort Adjust Bed
Lift Chair
To use the equipment, one must understand
and agree to the following:
The equipment will be
used by/for the person named as borrower, only.
This equipment will not be taken out of the state without ILRC
permission.
ILRC cannot be held responsible for accidents, injuries, or equipment
failures.
Borrower is responsible for any maintenance and/or repairs to the
equipment listed above, while in their care.
This equipment must be returned at the date specified, unless other
details have been discussed with an ILRC employee.
An extension may be provided, by an ILRC employee, at the end of
the requested time, if the equipment is not needed by another
individual.
ILRC reserves the right to reclaim equipment if needed.
Independent Living Resource Center requests an initial deposit of $25.00
for durable medical equipment.
The deposit will be returned to the above-mentioned borrower if the
equipment is not damaged upon return.
If the equipment is damaged, while in the care of the borrower, ILRC
will keep the initial deposit.
Independent Living Resource Center
does not request an initial deposit for ramps.

Resource Center owns any and all equipment mentioned above.
It is ILRC’s vision to work with other equipment loan programs,
in the local area, to ensure bigger variety of equipment to serve as
many individuals as possible.
